The era of regaining the sense of beauty
The reason why I am who I am today is because of an encounter with the book, "The Turning Point: Science, Society, and the Rising Culture" by Fritjof Capra. In the mid-1980s, tragedies like domestic and school violence becoming social issues which were shocking to me when I was a high school student. And, it made me wonder why people would tend to choose unhappiness even though they were born to be happy. I read this book in my 20s, and it gave light to my wonder.
In the book, as a physicist, Fritjof says that times are heading to a paradigm shift with analytic views of life, medical care, economic model, psychological approach, environmental pollution and so on and from various angles coherently over 700 pages long.
Since then, in the following 10 years, I had been aware of the changes of times while seeking a solution for a paradigm shift. However, I couldn't find any solution. Besides, I almost lost visions of hope while society was threw into confusion as per my observation of life. I felt as if I had been lost in a place unable to feel the sense and purpose for existence just like a room without exit.
Would a paradigm shift result in just idealism? And then, Communication Art

we call is created out of communication, which leads to communication. The project team started in 2001 and became what is today White Ship, Inc. in 2004. Our path had not been an easy one, but the beautiful arts created through meetings with many people, became our marks

To make the 21st century more beautiful with a more fulfilling society, to see many more of children's smiles, and, to make everyone regain "the sense of beauty" and "creativity," this is our aim and mission.
